Burzum - проект норвежского музыканта и писателя Варга Викернеса, основанный в 1991 году. В 1994 был приговорён к лишению свободы сроком на 21 год за убийство Евронимуса и поджоги церквей. Отбыв большую часть срока, был условно-досрочно освобождён в 2009 году. С 2010 года живёт во Франции. Компиляция записана в студии Grieghallen в марте 2010, издана в ноябре 2011 на Byelobog Productions и включает в себя полностью перезаписанные любимые песни Варга с первых двух альбомов "Burzum" и "Det Som Engang Var". Артворк представляет собой перерисованный крупный план ворот с обложки «Det som engang var». Релиз посвящён Питтену. Этот тираж - первая официальная версия для России, Армении, Азербайджана, Беларуси, Грузии, Казахстана, Кыргызстана, Молдовы, Таджикистана, Туркменистана, Украины и Узбекистана. Релиз по лицензии No Survivors Ltd и Byelobog Productions. 500 копий, содержащих 4-страничный буклет и 2 наклейки. Эксклюзивное издание от родоначальников норвежского Black Metal выпущено в специальном слипкейсе с серебряным конгревом, объединяющимся при сборе всей дискографии в оригинальный рисунок. Сам 12-дисковый бокс-сет включает в себя ещё кое-что уникальное.
Burzum - the project of the Norwegian musician and writer Varg Vikernes, founded in 1991. In 1994 he was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 21 years for the murder of Euronymous and the burning of churches. After serving most of the term, he went free in 2009. Since 2010 he lives in France. 'From the Depths of Darkness' recorded at Grieghallen Studios in March 2010 and released in November 2011 by Byelobog Productions, is a re-recording of Vikernes' favourite tracks from the first two albums, 'Burzum' and 'Det som engang var'. The artwork is basically a redrawn close-up of the gate on the cover of 'Det som engang var'. Release is dedicated to Pytten. This edition is first official version for Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. Release under license from No Survivors Ltd and Byelobog Productions, 500 copies contain 4-page booklet and 2 stickers. An exclusive edition from the forefathers of the Norwegian Black Metal was released in a special slipcase with a silver convex combining when collecting the entire discography in the original picture. The 12-CD boxed set itself includes something else unique.
